HC Deb 15 May 1884 vol 288 c481
MR. PELL

said, that he had had a Motion on the Paper— That this House regrets to learn that no provision has been made in the Financial proposals of Her Majesty's Government to give effect to the Resolution of the House of Friday, March 28 (on the subject of Local Taxation); but he thought that this was hardly a fitting opportunity to bring it forward. He would therefore propose to reserve his remarks until an occasion arose on which he could take the sense of the House upon it.
