§ SIR WILLIAM HARCOURTMy hon. and gallant Friend asks me whether Her Majesty's Government contemplate legislation on the subject of ecclesiastical burial fees. With regard to contemplation, I think we may say that we do; but in regard to action in the present Session I am afraid he must accept the answer I gave the other day, that we are unable to do anything.
