HC Deb 21 March 1884 vol 286 c460
MR. KENNY

asked the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, Why the Local Government Board Order for an election of Town Commissioners for Ennis has not been sent down, although the local preliminary requirements have been completed?

MR. TREVELYAN

Sir, the Local Government Board, in compliance with the application made to them for carrying out the Towns Improvement Act, made the usual Order on the subject, which was duly published in The Dublin Gazette of last Tuesday. I have no doubt that by this time it has reached Ennis.
