HC Deb 14 March 1884 vol 285 c1534

asked the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, If he will lay upon the Table Copies of the documents relating to the establishment of a permanent staff in the office of the Intermediate Education Board, including the recommendations made from time to time by the Board, the Report of the Committee recently appointed by the Lord Lieutenant, and the Correspondence which has taken place on the subject since the formation of the office between the Board, the Irish Government, and Her Majesty's Treasury?

It is not usual to lay on the Table Reports of Departmental Committees of Inquiry, or Correspondence of the nature referred to. I cannot undertake to make any exception to the usual practice in this case.
