§ LORD EDMOND FITZMAURICEHer Majesty's Minister at Lisbon has already inquired of the Portuguese Government whether there is any information at Lisbon on this subject; but the reply is in the negative. Beyond the information supplied by the hon. Member himself no complaint on the subject has reached the Foreign Office; but communications are being entered into with the Board of Trade, and the matter will be fully investigated.
