§ LORD EDMOND FITZMAURICEHer Majesty's Government have agreed to the proposal of the Turkish Government, that M. Crestovitch should be appointed Governor General of Eastern Roumelia. The officer appointed Commander of the Eastern Roumelian Militia in April last is Drigalsky Pasha, aide-de-camp to the Sultan and a Lieutenant General in the Turkish Service. He is a German subject.
