THE MARQUESS OF HARTINGTONThe gratuity has already been issued to the troops employed in the operations around Suakin. I cannot yet state whether a Supplementary Estimate will be required for this and other extraordinary expenditure arising from the state of affairs in Egypt and the Soudan.
