MR. JUSTIN HUNTLY M'CARTHYasked the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, When he intends to introduce a Bill dealing with some of the admitted grievances of the Irish National school teachers?
§ MR. TREVELYANSir, in reply to the hon. Member, I must say that, under the present circumstances, I can no longer hope to be able to introduce any Bill on the subject during the present state of things, a matter which I greatly regret. I quite expressed my intention of putting a Bill forward on chance, which I will lay on the Table.
