§ MR. BIGGARasked the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, If he would explain why should the payment of results fees in Ireland be delayed for two months after the results examination, especially where no errors or informalities can be attributed to the teachers?
§ MR. TREVELYANThe Commissioners of National Education inform me that it is not the fact that payment of results fees is delayed for two months after the examinations. Cases of delay occur where correspondence with inspectors or others is necessary; but such cases afford no basis for a general statement of undue delay.
