§ SIR ARTHUR HAYTERMy hon. Friend will, perhaps, permit me to give the Secretary of State's answer to this inquiry. The regulations for military examinations have been amended in accordance with the recommendations of the Royal Society and the British Association. The regulations are now ready, and will be published shortly. The Secretary of State desires me to add that the new scheme will not be brought into operation before the winter examination of next year.
