§ SIR HERVEY BRUCEasked the Secretary to the Treasury, Whether there is any truth in the statement in The Civilian newspaper of the 16th instant, that the Coleraine collection of Customs is about to be broken up; and, whether he will consider if this course may not act very prejudicially on a district which is expending so large a sum of money for the improvement of its port?
§ MR. COURTNEY, in reply, said, that the statement quoted was not correct, and he could assure the hon. Member that nothing would be done to the disadvantage of local interests.
