§ SIR MICHAEL HICKS-BEACHasked if the House could have any information as to when Supply would be taken, and when the Supplementary Estimates would be in the hands of Members? Of course, he particularly referred to that portion of the Supplementary Estimates which related to the operations in Egypt, which he thought it desirable should be laid on the Table as soon as possible.
THE CHANCELLOR OF THE EXCHEQUER (Mr. GUILDERS)said, he had every reason to believe that the Supplementary Estimates would be presented on Monday. It was impossible at that moment to say when they would be taken.
