I beg to give Notice that when the right hon. Gentleman the Leader of the Opposition moves his Resolution in regard to Egypt, I shall move the following Amendment:— That, in the opinion of this House, the condition of Egypt is such that, in the interests of its people, and all others who are concerned in its welfare, it is desirable that Her Majesty's Government should, without delay, assume a protectorate over that country.
