Friend I may state that I understand that the new Annuity and Insurance Tables, which had to be prepared by the Commissioners for the Reduction of the National Debt, are now being printed, and that the Commissioners hoped to have them ready to be laid before Parliament in a few days. They cannot be acted upon until they have laid on the Table of the House for 30 days. After this the new scheme can be brought into operation in a very brief period, and certainly within a few weeks.
