HC Deb 06 February 1884 vol 284 c96
MR. LABOUCHERE

I wish to give Notice that, on the Report of the Address, I shall move that these words be inserted after Paragraph 5— And respectfully to express a hope that the entire evacuation of the country (Egypt) by Her Majesty's military forces will be as speedy as is consistent with the establishment of order and tranquillity.

MR. ASHMEAD-BARTLETT

I rise to a point of Order. I wish to ask whether it is in Order to give Notice now in regard to a Motion on the Report of the Address?

MR. SPEAKER

The Address to Her Majesty not having bean agreed to, it is premature to give Notice of any Amendment on the Report.
