HC Deb 02 December 1884 vol 294 c439
SIR H. DRUMMOND WOLFF

asked the Secretary to the Admiralty, Whether provision will be made in the Navy Estimates for the year 1885–6 for increased pay to Assistant Paymasters of the Royal Navy of over thirteen years' service in that rank?

MR. CAINE

There is no intention of making further provisions for Assistant Paymasters in the Estimates for 1885–6. A Committee has had under consideration certain questions affecting Paymasters. The Report has been received, and will shortly be considered.
