HC Deb 02 December 1884 vol 294 c436
SIR THOMAS CHAMBERS

asked the Vice President of the Committee of Council, If he will lay upon the Table of the House a Copy of the Inspector's Report in reference to the erection of a new Board School in the Grove Road, Regent's Park, and of the Correspondence between the Department and the Vestry of Saint Marylebone on that subject?

MR. MUNDELLA

The site of the school in Grove Road, Regent's Park, was acquired by Act of Parliament, which received the Royal Assent on July 14, 1884. The Report of Her Majesty's Inspector is confidential, and given for the guidance of the Department. I cannot, therefore, give the Correspondence my hon. Friend asks for, and I see no advantage in re-opening a question which has already been settled by both Houses of Parliament.
