MR. GLADSTONEThe Government have already seriously considered the expediency of advising Her Majesty to use all Constitutional means for the purpose of securing the speedy consideration, and, I hope, the speedy passing, of the Franchise Bill. I do not know of any fresh advice that we can give to Her Majesty during the Recess to promote that object. But I think the answer to the Question is to be found in the advice already given to Her Majesty, and graciously accepted by her, concerning the early re-assembling of Parliament in the autumn.
