§ MR. SERJEANT SIMONasked the Under Secretary of State for Foreign 99 Affairs, Whether the International Conference on the subject of the execution of Foreign Judgment, to which we were invited by the Italian Government, has taken place; and, if so, with what results?
§ LORD EDMOND FITZMAURICEHer Majesty's Government acceded to the proposal of the Italian Government that a preliminary examination of this subject, on the basis of the Resolutions adopted at Milan, in 1883, by the Association for the Reform and Codification of International Law, should take place at Rome by a Conference of official delegates from various Governments; but no meeting of that Body has yet taken place.
