§ MR. MOOREasked the President of the Board of Trade, Whether it is proposed to include within the scope of the inquiry by Royal Commission into the Marine Department of the Board of Trade the sanitary aspect of emigration and immigration, and the position of medical officers in emigrant ships?
§ MR. CHAMBERLAINI recognize the great importance of the question; but I am afraid that the Royal Commission will have so many and such complicated matters to deal with that it would be undesirable to extend the scope of the inquiry in the manner suggested.
