I beg respectfully lo thank the House for the indulgence which it has shown me, during my enforced absence, owing to illness; and I regret that the House should have been put to any inconvenience on my account.I also wish to express my obligation to the Chairman of the Committee of Ways and Means, for the self-sacrifice which he made, in taking the Chair in my place.
