§ MR. T. P. O'CONNORasked the Secretary to the Treasury, Whether it was the intention of the authorities to abolish the post of Collector of Customs in the Port of Galway?
§ MR. COURTNEYThere is a question, Sir, under consideration whether a Superintendent may not be appointed to the Port of Gal way instead of a Collector. But, whatever change of title may be effected in the chief officer, the facilities at present enjoyed by trade at that port will remain undiminished.
