CAMERONasked the Secretary of State for War, Whether it is true that copies of the Report of the principal Veterinary Surgeon of the British Army in Egypt, on the Egyptian Campaign, have been supplied to the orderly rooms or officers of the cavalry regiments engaged in that Campaign; and, if so, whether he will lay the Report before Parliament?
§ SIR ARTHUR HAYTERIn reply, Sir, to my hon. Friend, I have to say that Copies of the Report in question have been forwarded to the commanding officers of regiments of Cavalry, as well as to Veterinary Surgeons for their professional information; but, being a purely Departmental Report, furnished for the information of the Secretary of State, it is not proposed to lay it upon the Table of the House.
