§ MR. ARTHUR O'CONNORasked the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, Whether he can state or would furnish a Return showing what money was transferred from the General Fund Account in the Bank of Ireland to the Unclaimed Dividend Account, pursuant to Section 294 of "The Irish Bankrupt and Insolvent Act, 1857;" what moneys have since been paid into the Unclaimed Dividend Account, and how all the moneys paid into such Account have been invested, and how the interest has been applied, pursuant to Sections 295 and 296 of the same Act; and, what money is now lying to the credit of the Unclaimed Dividend Account, and how the same is invested?
§ MR. TREVELYANSir, this is not a matter which is under the control of the Irish Executive; but I have made inquiry on the subject, and have been 581 furnished with particular a by the Chief Registrar of the Bankruptcy Court. The details asked for could not be conveniently given in answer to a Question, but I see no objection to their being given in the form of a Return if the hon. Member chooses to move for it.
