CAMPBELL - BANNERMANSir, the Mediterranean Squadron is engaged, under the orders of the Board of Admiralty, in its summer cruise, which is undertaken for the purpose of exercising the officers and men in fleet evolutions and manœuvring. The visits made in the course of the cruise to various ports afford an opportunity for the exchange of international courtesies.
