HC Deb 26 February 1883 vol 276 c826
DR. CAMERON

gave Notice that when the Motion of the right hon. Gentleman the Member for North Devon was brought forward, he would move the Previous Question.

MR. LABOUCHERE

gave Notice that in the apparently not very probable event of the right hon. Gentleman the Member for North Devon moving his Resolution in regard to the Kilmainham transaction, he would move an Amendment, to leave out all the words after the word "That," in order to substitute the following:— The Prime Minister having stated that all the matters connected with the release of Mr. Parnell, M.P., Mr. Dillon, M.P., and Mr. O'Kelly, M.P., requisite for the House to form its judgment as to the said release have been made public, the appointment of a Select Committee to inquire further into these matters, and to examine witnesses upon oath in regard to them, would be a waste of public time and money, and an imputation upon the Prime Minister.
