asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department, The cause of the delay in the presentation of the Report of the Royal Commission on the City Livery Companies, when such Commission will resume its sittings, and when the Report may be expected to be laid upon the Table of the House?

SIR WILLIAM HARCOURT

said, that the Commission had resumed its sittings, and he understood that it was expected to make its Report in the course of the present Session.
