MR. GLADSTONE, in reply, said, he was afraid he must ask his hon. and learned Friend to wait still a short time before expecting him (Mr. Gladstone) to say positively whether the Government would proceed with the Bill or not. Of course, the feeling of the House must weigh with them in the decision they arrived at.
