MR. GLADSTONE, in reply, said, that, looking to the limited fund of time at the disposal of the Government, ho must make the best arrangements he could; and he did not conceive the subject to be one so urgent as to lead him to put aside any of the Business that stood more immediately for consideration. He should be happy, however, to communicate with the right hon. Gentleman, because, although he could not see his way to an immediate discussion, he should be very sorry indeed to contemplate any unreasonable delay.
