said, he rose to ask the Prime Minister a Question in reference to the Procedure Resolutions. If in Order, he would like to know, whether there were any of the Amendments to the 1st Resolution now standing upon the Paper which the Government were disposed to accept?

MR. GLADSTONE

Sir, it will be my duty, I hope, presently, to make the Motion of which I have given Notice, with regard to the Procedure of this House; and, when I make that Motion, I will take the opportunity, as being a most convenient one, of stating what course the Government intend to adopt with regard to one or two points which were left open when the matter was last under discussion.
