HC Deb 20 November 1882 vol 274 cc1727-8
MR. J. R. YORKE

asked at what time the Prime Minister proposed to move the adjournment of the debate on Procedure in order to permit the discussion of his Motion for a Select Committee into the circumstances attending the release of Irish Members from Kilmainham?

MR. GLADSTONE

I must refer the hon. Member to the statement I made on Thursday with respect to the Motion on the Report of the Gray Committee. I shall act in the same manner with respect to the hon. Gentleman's Notice. More than that I cannot say, as much depends upon the course that the discussion on Procedure may take tonight.
