May I ask the right hon. Gentleman whether any proposal is to be made for appointing the Committee on Privilege, and what arrangement he proposes to make on the subject?

MR. GLADSTONE

We must endeavour, if possible, to adjourn to-night before half-past 12 to dispose of the matter. There may be some topic of importance before the House; but I hope we shall be able to do so.
