HC Deb 26 May 1882 vol 269 cc1707-8
MR. PLUNKET (in the absence of Mr. TOTTENHAM)

asked the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, What has been the cause of the delay in presenting to the House the Return of Judicial Rents fixed by the Irish Land Commission, which the late Chief Secretary stated some weeks since would be distributed to Members on an early day; and, when the Return in question will be distributed?

MR. TREVELYAN

I am not aware that there has been any delay in presenting this Return to the House. It was presented on the 15th instant; and if delay has occurred in its distribution, the printer in Dublin is answerable for it. I have had a telegram from him stating that it will be forwarded to the Stationery Office for distribution tomorrow.
