Motion made, and Question proposed, "That Mr. Speaker do now leave the Chair."—(Mr. Summers.)

MR. WHITLEY

said, he hoped the hon. Member would not proceed with the Committee stage of the Bill at that hour of the morning (2.40). It would deal, he saw, with the lands of Corporations. There were many provisions in it which would have to be carefully considered.

MR. SUMMERS

said, that it would, perhaps, be better to postpone the Committee until Thursday.

Motion, by leave, withdrawn.

Committee deferred till Thursday.
