§ MR. TREVELYANSir, it has been decided to carry out the recommendations of the Committee, and on the 24th of February a final letter was addressed to the manager of the powder hulks, who represents the owners of the magazines, pressing for a definite reply as to the date when the owners will be prepared to carry out the conditions. A letter has recently been received from the manager, promising to give attention to the matter, and stating that he is in communication with the various 1660 owners, who reside in various parts of the Kingdom.
