HC Deb 09 March 1882 vol 267 c457
MR. FITZPATRICK

asked Mr. Attorney General for Ireland, Whether there is any objection to laying upon the Table of the House a Return of the extra expenses incurred, up to the present date, in providing accommodation for "suspects," and in repairs of gaols for that purpose, or in the employment of extra warders and other officials?

THE ATTORNEY GENERAL FOR IRELAND (Mr. W. M. JOHNSON)

Sir, there is no objection to the Return asked for being laid upon the Table of the House; and I will give directions for its preparation.
