§ LORD FREDERICK CAVENDISHSir, in cases where the persons liable have pleaded inability to pay, or have tendered a portion of the arrears due on account of quit rent to the Crown in Ireland, the time for payment has been extended. But where no satisfactory excuse has been given, or the Crown's claim is disputed, legal proceedings are being taken for recovery of the amount due.
