HC Deb 02 March 1882 vol 266 c1939
MR. MOORE

asked the honourable Member for Leeds, Whether the Local Government Board for Ireland have framed any estimate of the probable expenditure which will be thrown on the poor rate by the proposed legislation of which he has charge relative to the superannuation of Union officers?

MR. HERBERT GLADSTONE

, in reply, said, that the matter had been considered by the Board; but it was not possible to arrive at any accurate estimate. It was not expected that the expenditure would be materially increased.
