§ MR. TREVELYANSir, Edmund Stewart was released on the 30th of May by order of the Lord Lieutenant. For an answer to the last part of the Question, I must refer the hon. Member to my right hon. and learned Friend the Attorney General for Ireland.

JOHNSON)With respect to the latter part of the Question, I am unable to say whether this person was put upon his trial, because I cannot recollect whether the information was submitted to me or not. Until I have received intelligence respecting that, I cannot give an answer.
