HC Deb 16 June 1882 vol 270 c1407
MR. O'SHEA

asked the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, Whether the Local Government Board has received a second protest from the majority of the Kildy sart (county Clare) Board of Guardians as to the unusual punctuality of the meeting at which a minority consisting, according to one version, of three, and according to another of two, guardians, recently elected a chairman of the board; and, if so, whether the Local Government Board has considered the protest worthy of notice?

MR. TREVELYAN

The Local Government Board did receive protests from certain of the Guardians of the Kildysart Union in reference to the subject of this Question, and, having considered the matter, sent their reply to the clerk of the Union on the 15th of April.
