asked the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, Whether the time has arrived for the release of Mr. Thomas Morrissy and his brother, whose parents have suffered great loss by their imprisonment, and who have been already confined for a period of seven months?

Sir, His Excellency the Lord Lieutenant has had the cases of Messrs. Thomas and Patrick Morrissy under his consideration, and has decided that he cannot at present order their release.
