§ MR. COURTNEYThe Chief Registrar of Friendly Societies informs me that the first part of his Report on the year 1881 will be ready for presentation to Parliament by the middle of August, which is the usual date, or even earlier. The first part of his Report for 1880 has long since been presented and circulated; the publication of the second part is delayed by the nature of its contents, and in particular by some additional matter which is being inserted in it to meet the wishes of persons interested in the subject.
