§ MR. ARTHUR O'CONNORasked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury, Whether the Board of Works in Ireland have yet made a complete inventory of furniture and other articles in their charge, as recommended by Lord Lansdowne's Committee, in 1873, and by Viscount Crichton's, in 1878; and, whether he can state the estimated value of such property?
§ MR. COURTNEYThe Board of Works have made a complete inventory of the furniture and other articles in their charge, and a general revision of it is now in progress, and is nearly complete. The value of such property is obviously extremely difficult to ascertain; but I am informed that it may be taken approximately at about £500,000.
