asked the President of the Board of Trade, Whether he has, in accordance with his promise made last year with reference to the importation of butter substitutes, such as butterine, oleomargarine, &c., that he would— At the earliest possible moment endeavour to devise means by which the classification may be altered, and the importation of these things kept separate in the Return, devised means by which this can be done; and, if means have been so devised, he will undertake to put such means into operation?
