asked the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, If it is a fact that Mr. John Delaney, now detained in Naas Gaol, has been confined for four months; and, whether his case has been reconsidered, in accordance with the requirements of the Act under which he was arrested?

, in reply, said, that John Delaney was arrested on the 17th of October. At the end of three months his case was duly considered in accordance with the requirements of the Act.
