MR. GRANTHAM

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department, Whether his attention has been drawn to a Memorial from the inhabitants of Camberwell and Dulwich, asking him to inquire into the alleged delay of Mr. Coroner Carter in holding an inquest on the body of the late Richard Dawre; and, whether he will cause inquiry to be made into the circumstances, and take such measures as may seem to him beet to comply with the prayer of the Memorial?

, in reply, said, he had received a letter from the Coroner on the matter in question, and he had referred it to the memorialists for their observations.
