HC Deb 17 August 1882 vol 273 c2048
MR. HOPWOOD

asked the President of the Local Government Board, Whether he had received the Report of the Medical Inspector in regard to the cases of alleged deaths from vaccination at Norwich?

MR. DODSON

The Report has not been received; but, at the suggestion of the Medical Inspector, I have, in view of the gravity of the case, and the strong public feeling excited, directed a public inquiry to be held. For this purpose, I have associated with the Medical Inspector, Dr. Airy, one of our most experienced general Inspectors, Mr. Henley.
