HC Deb 15 August 1882 vol 273 c1834
MR. O'DONNELL

asked Mr. Attorney General for Ireland, Whether his attention has been called to the accounts of the conduct of the jury in the recent murder case of the Queen v. Hynes, while at the Imperial Hotel previous to the verdict, which have appeared in the "Freeman" and the "Evening Standard" of Monday; and, whether he proposes to take any steps in the matter?

THE ATTORNEY GENERAL FOR IRELAND (Mr. W. M. JOHNSON)

Sir, this matter occurred after I left Dublin. My attention has been called to it, and very effective steps are in contemplation in reference to it.
