HC Deb 11 August 1882 vol 273 c1528
MR. TOTTENHAM

asked the Prime Minister whether there was any truth in the report that the Government had conceded the demands of the Irish Constabulary?

MR. GLADSTONE

said, he would not like to give an inaccurate or hasty answer to that Question, on which he had not got definite information. Perhaps the hon. Member would be kind enough to repeat his Question on some other occasion.
