asked the Secretary of State for War, Whether commissions in the Cavalry will be given to officers of the Yeomanry or of any Mounted Volunteer Corps who volunteer and are accepted for service in Egypt?

§ MR. CHILDERS
No, Sir. There are no regulations which would admit of the suggestions of the hon. Gentleman being adopted, and at present I see no occasion for changing the present system.
